As a UX Designer at Angaza Elimu, I’ve been leading the design of a student-centered EdTech platform focused on improving access to digital learning. The platform is being built to support engaging, self-paced learning experiences across subjects and age groups.
I’m currently responsible for end-to-end user experience — from user flows and low-fidelity wireframes to visual design and prototypes. I collaborate closely with developers, product leads, and educators to ensure the platform is grounded in real learner needs. The design process begins with research into student behaviors, classroom challenges, and platform accessibility. From there, I map key flows for content navigation, progress tracking, and motivation-based features like gamification and gentle prompts.
We’re taking an iterative, feedback-driven approach — regularly testing flows and layouts with real students and refining based on what feels intuitive, encouraging, and clear.
The platform is still in active development, with core features already tested and refined. As we continue to build and ship, we’re laying down a strong design foundation for future updates — including educator dashboards, mobile optimization, and subject-specific learning flows.
