The design process began with a deep understanding of the platform’s target audience—smallholder farmers—and the unique challenges they face in accessing agricultural services remotely. I focused on creating a mobile experience that was intuitive, easy to navigate, and scalable to accommodate the various workflows within the platform. User research played a crucial role in shaping the design, helping to ensure that the platform’s interface would be both practical and accessible, even for those with limited tech experience. Prototyping and iterative testing were key in refining the features, ensuring a smooth user journey while integrating essential elements like task management, real-time updates, and communication tools, all designed to operate efficiently in remote settings.
